While essentially the Blackberry is a mobile phone, it goes way beyond that and in reality what is Blackberry Technology is a wireless hand-hled device boasting many features beyond making calls, such as push email, text, internet browsing, faxing, camera with a multi-touch interface. Developed by the Canadian company, Research in Motion (RIM). Blackberry phones have given the PDA a run for its money and taken cell phone use into a whole new high.

Email - One of the main functions of what is Blackberry technology. For email, you need to subscribe to data plans whose price can be unlimited or traffic-based.
Phone - Like with cell phones, a service is required, which can be call-based or unlimited. BlackBerry, phone calls are becoming more interesting and cheap now that VOIP, voice over Internet protocol, or internet phone service is available with BlackBerry.
Browsing - BlackBerry phones have an integrated browser for Web surf (data service is required).
